Compassionate medical care for pets
Companion Home Vet Care, LLC provides the Longmont, Boulder, Niwot, Louisville and surrounding areas compassionate pain management medical care for pets. This mobile veterinary service is run by Dr. Rebecca Cross, who is a licensed veterinarian and certified veterinary acupuncturist.
Dr. Cross grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated in 1997 from Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She was a general practitioner in Texas for five years before moving to Colorado in 2002 where she practiced emergency medicine for over ten years. In 2012 Dr. Cross earned certification from Colorado State University’s Veterinary Medical Acupuncture program (MAV).
Dr. Cross has been married for 24 happy years and has 2 children. When she’s not caring for animals, she will often be found playing the piano or gardening…or doing homework with her kids. She and her family love to hike, camp, ski and sing (…not all at the same time).
Tipsy is the family’s little Pomeranian that was rescued due to a spinal cord disease. Velcro is a formerly feral Texas cat that chose to adopt the Cross family before they returned to Colorado. Both of these pets provide much joy and entertainment to the Cross Family and are constant reminders of how great a blessing Companion animals are to the people who love them. It is Dr. Cross’s sincere desire to help people care for their beloved pets.
