I am not accepting new acupuncture and laser appointments at this time.

Dr. Cross strives to make timely house call appointments in Longmont and the surrounding area, so please have your pets in an accessible area so that they are ready for their appointment. This may mean placing your cat in the bathroom or another small space so that he doesn’t go into hiding when it’s time for his exam. If multiple pets are being examined and treated, it will be necessary to have them separated so that undivided time and attention and can be given to each individual pet. This is especially necessary if acupuncture treatments and laser therapy are being performed.

If your pet is receiving acupuncture treatment it is ideal to have a quiet, secluded place where your pet can relax uninterrupted. Treats such as frozen jars of baby food, Frosty Paws or frozen kong treats are great distractions that give dogs something to “work on” while receiving acupuncture.

Upon arrival to your home, Dr. Rebecca will obtain a medical history by asking you several questions about your pet. She will then examine your pet and make treatment recommendations. Most lab work samples can be obtained at the time of exam however, there may be times when your pet needs additional diagnostics such as x-rays or medical procedures which are beyond the scope of a house call practice. Referral to veterinary specialists may also be deemed necessary for some animal patients.
